About Luke
Luke Watson is a Lubbock, Texas–based artist and graphic designer — two practices that come back to the same instinct: build a clear, honest image, then push it until it's fun to look at.
A Texas Tech University alumnus, Luke brings a designer's eye to everything he makes. In the studio, he hand-renders wildlife and West Texas scenery in bold black-and-white linework, set against loose, colorful backgrounds that feel more spray can than still life.
Call him a happy camper — that outdoor-first, low-key attitude runs through everything he makes, whether it's a brand for a client or a bear standing tall in a field of color. If it doesn't feel a little alive, it's not done yet.

Professional two-legged stander and connoisseur of loose berries. Will not fit through your front door, no matter how badly you want him to.

Not a morning person. Not really an anything-o'clock person. The crown is less "royalty" and more "emotional support headwear."

Spent years growing one flower stalk just to show off, then called it a career. West Texas landscaping's strong, silent type.

A whole room of yelling, side-eyeing, and mild-to-moderate concern. Nobody in this painting is having a normal day.
